 When

can be utilized. Whether used in airports, parking lots or office
buildings, Barrier
Gates prevent vehicles from entering without proper
authorization - efficiently managing entry without hampering busy
traffic flow. It can be used as a single arm only or designed
with integration to a slide or swing operator to prevent
additional cars from entering a specified area prior to the
previous car leaving. |

Automatic Vehicle Identification (AVID) |

Barcode Readers use ID decals on the vehicle for identification.
The barcode system is also "hands free" because the driver does not
have to do anything but drive through the gate. As the vehicle
passes the barcode reader, it detects the decal on the side and
reads the ID code, which identifies the vehicle. Typical range for a
barcode system is 6 feet from the reader moving at up to 25 mph. |
